

The grapes of Laski Riesling from the best positions of Bela Krajina are intended for bottles of 0.75 l. The top-quality wines with a protected designation of origin (ZGP) are distinguished primarily by an extremely rich variety-recognizable aroma and a varietal characteristic and distinctive dry taste. It is right that the wine is stored in a cool room. It is served when the temperature is between 10 and 12°C. Laski Riesling wine is very appropriate also as an aperitif.
Chardonnay is a high quality white wine variety that has found its place also in Bela Krajina. Mild climate and carefully selected grapes in the vineyard are an excellent starting point for top-quality wines. The expressiveness of varietal characteristics, both in smell and taste, is very high. The rich, harmonic and dry taste of wine gives many options and combinations in the culinary delights of Slovenia. The wine should be enjoyed appropriately chilled, preferably between 10 and 12 °C.
Sauvignon is also known as Muskatni silvanec. The very name tells us that the wine has characteristics of Muscat. The richness of flavor of Sauvignon is very large, but also diverse. Sometimes it reminds us of a freshly mown grass, sometimes of green pepper, depending on the character of the wine-growing year. We hardly ever have an opportunity to taste Sauvignon from Bela Krajina. Allow yourself to be pleasantly surprised and enjoy having a glass of dry Sauvignon from Bela Krajina. The wine is served appropriately chilled, preferably at 10 to 12°C.
The aromatic Yellow Muscat wine variety has been achieving a surprisingly high quality in the wine-growing district. The biggest distinction of this exceptional wine is the richness of the typical Muscat smell. Even the taste, which is full, rich and harmonic, gives a distinctive tone of Muscat. Depending on the quality of the wine-growing year and the grapes, we decide for the wine with the residual unfermented sugar, or leave that the sugar ferments to the end. Yellow Muscat wine is served appropriately chilled, preferably at 10 °C.
Zdravica is a premium wine with a protected geographical origin, produced from the grape variety Blue Franconian. Due to the modified method of processing the grapes, we were able to produce the wine, which contains many substances with a beneficial effect on the human organism, especially on the functioning of the heart and blood vessels. The extended maceration of mash is followed by several months' wine maturing in large wooden oak barrels. The quality of Zdravica wine is primarily in its composition, the richness of pleasant components. Therefore, Zdravica wine toast, with a view to a healthy body, is especially recommended together with meals at lunch or dinner. Daily recommendation is 2-3 dcl of this exceptionally rich wine. The wine is best served with an appropriate temperature, preferably between 15 and 16°C.
Blue Franconian is a red grape variety, which reaches the highest quality in Bela Krajina. Specially selected grapes of Blue Franconian are processed separately, in order to achieve the highest quality of wines. The vintage time and the grape selection in the vineyard are of utmost importance for this wine. With a carefully planned and carried out technological process from grape to bottle, we keep all that nature has given us. After several months of wine maturation in wooden oak barrels and a few months' maturation in bottles, Blue Franconian is ready to show up before its fans. From the rough young wine arises a polite, harmonious and rich wine with appropriately expressed tannins. The bottles with the Blue Franconian are stored in a cool and dark room.
Blue Franconian is among the red wine grape varieties in Bela Krajina of the best quality. Carefully selected grapes in the vineyard and a reliable technological processing of grapes give an excellent top-quality wine. Long maceration of mash and the wine maturation for many years in oak wood barrels further confirm the quality of this exceptional wine. Even a twelve-month maturation of wine in the new 225 l barrels made of French oak, enriches the kingdom of aroma and taste of Blue Franconian. The primary aromas of grapes partially cover with an elaborately burnt oak wood. The biggest distinction of Blue Franconian is found in the combination of primary varietal characteristics and the characteristics gained with the maturation in new oak barrels. Due to the long maturation of the wine in barrels and bottles, it is important that it is served with the wine of appropriate temperature, preferably between 16 and 18°C.
A special variety for a special wine. The highest quality of Portugalka wine is that it ripens extremely rapid from the young must into a young wine. With the technological processing of grapes and partial carbon maceration, we have managed to keep all the primary characteristics of the grapes also in the wine. Already a good month after the vintage, the wine is already filled into bottles. It is due to the pleasantness of fruit flavors and soft, smooth and full flavor, that many sommeliers classify Portugalka among the best young red wines. It goes best with the autumnal good things of the Slovene cuisine, with baked chestnuts, however, there is no equal. Due to the youthfulness of the wine, it is best to serve young Portugalka chilled to 13 to 14°C.
The sparkling wine Metliska penina is a white wine produced according to the traditional method of classical secondary alcoholic fermentation in the bottles. The basic wine is produced from the varieties of Pinot Noir and Pinot White. The profusion of playfulness of tiny, as if connected in the chainlet, bubbles of carbon dioxide, which happily raise to the surface of the wine in the glass. The harmony between the smell and the taste is perfect. Due to the dry taste of the Metlika sparkling wine, it is suitable also as an aperitif. It is indispensable at the beginning of pleasant celebrations. The sparkling wine Metliska penina is served only after being cooled it down to 6 to 8°C.
Rose wine is produced exclusively from the red grape varieties. Due to the way of processing the grapes, a fruit aroma and a fresh light taste is typical of Rose wine. Zametna Crnina gives the wine a nice aroma of forest fruits, it particularly reminds us of the smell of raspberries. Blue Franconian contributes to the full taste of Rose wine. Due to freshness and a slightly higher acidity, Rose wine is suitable mainly for hot summer days. Rose wine is extremely grateful in combination with food, since it suits well to most of meals. It is very important that the wine is served appropriately chilled, preferably between 8 and 10°C.
Metliska champagne is semi-dry sparkling white wine produced in the traditional classical process of secondary alcoholic fermentation of wine in bottles. A one-year maturation of wine yeast, and a favorable ratio of varieties Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc create pleasantness flavor, rich taste and playfulness of tiny bubbles. Metliska penina is served chilled to 6-8 degrees C.
Champagne Rose is a sparkling semi-dry wine produced in the traditional classical process of secondary alcoholic fermentation of wine in bottles. A one-year maturation of wine yeast, and a favorable ratio of Blue Franconian varieties and create pleasantness flavor, rich taste and playfulness of tiny bubbles.
